Aerial Drone Footage of Manly in New South Wales of Australia
Manly Beach is another of Australia's most popular suburban beaches along Sydney's long stretch of northern coastline. Manly Beach was named in 1788 by Captain Arthur Phillip, the first governor of New South Wales, because he was impressed by “the confidence and manly behaviour” of the area's original Aboriginal population. Take the majestic Manly ferry from Circular Quay and in half an hour you'll be at Manly Wharf. ‘Only seven miles from Sydney and a million miles from care' is a phrase often quoted by the people of Manly. When you visit this seaside town you will quickly realise why.
Nestled between a tranquil Sydney Harbour beach on one side and a popular Pacific Ocean surf beach on the other, the laid-back character of Manly Beach seems a thousand miles from busy Sydney, yet it is only a ferry ride away.
Manly is a great Sydney beach for the whole family. From the harbour foreshore, the palm-tree lined Manly Corso leads you to the Steyne promenade, where a number of surf clothing shops sell everything from surfboards to bikinis.
The 1.5 kilometre-long golden Manly Beach has a sheltered ocean pool at one end. Queenscliff, at the northern end of the beach is a great spot to learn to surf as well as for experienced surfers. Many of Australia's champion surfers learned at Manly Beach. At its southern end, a pathway curls from the Manly Surf Lifesaving Club to Shelley Beach that is a popular track for joggers, cyclists and locals.

Denmark, Western Australia - Denmark, WA Tourism & Vacation
Travel Videos HD, World Travel Guide
Denmark is a coastal town in the Great Southern region of Western Australia, 423 kilometres (263 mi) south-south-east of the state capital of Perth. At the 2011 census, Denmark had a population of 2,280, however the population can be several times the base population during tourist seasons.
Flora and fauna
================
Denmark is surrounded by native woodland with a large variety of trees, including the eucalypts marri, karri, jarrah and red tingle. The latter can reach a height of 60 metres (200 ft). A distinctive local tree is the Red-flowering Gum.
There are many indigenous bird species, including Splendid Fairy-wrens, Emus, Australian White Ibis, Australian Magpies and Australian Ringnecks. Many species of reptiles including snakes and skinks can be found. Marsupials such as the Western Grey Kangaroo, the Southern Brown Bandicoot and the Common Brushtail Possum also live in the area.
The abundance of fish, squid and other marine life in the Denmark estuaries and along the coastline attracts Bottlenose Dolphins and seals; seasonally Southern Right Whales rest there during their long migrations to the north.
Notable people
=============
Actress Emma Booth was brought up in Denmark.
Facilities
=============
Denmark is a rural town with timber milling, orcharding, beef cattle and dairy farming as its primary industries. Soil and climate attract wine growers, with tourism being the fastest growing business in Denmark.[citation needed] There is limited commercial fishing as Denmark has no harbour.
The town is home to the Western Australian College of Agriculture - Denmark, a 560 hectare working farm and educational facility for Year 10, 11 and 12 students providing specialist education in farming and farm-related studies.
Denmark was awarded the title of Australia's Tidiest Town in 1998.
Near the Denmark River mouth is a wooden Heritage Railway Bridge where several walking trails come together including the Bibbulmun Track, which runs from the Perth region to Albany and the 'Denmark-Nornalup Heritage Trail'.
Denmark is on the Great Southern Highway, and is serviced by the TransWA public transport system. The town has an airstrip for small planes.

Denham Seaside Tourist Village - Top Tourist Parks - Discover Downunder
Tim Smith host of Discover Downunder is checking out Denham Seaside Tourist Village. Famous for its absolute water frontage and panoramic ocean views, Denham Seaside Tourist Village is located right on beautiful Shark Bay with its own lovely safe beach. Perfect for your family holiday and especially appealing to those who enjoy swimming, fishing and boating activities. Tim talks to manager Karen Cox about the park. Denham is coming into dugong and turtle season where they swim with people out the front of the park. People stay at the park for 3 - 4 months at a time to escape the cold weather in Perth and migrate here. Tim also talks to guests Pat and Lina who have been coming to the park for eleven years in the wintertime. There are 150 powered sites, 10 unpowered sites and 18 cabins. Tim Smith thinks this is the best Top Tourist Park he's seen. You must book in advance at Denham Seaside Tourist Park. For more information go to the website: or
