Bremer Bay is a coastal town situated on the south coast of Western Australia in the Great Southern region between Albany and Esperance, at the mouth of the Bremer River. Bremer Bay is 515 kilometres southeast of the state capital, Perth, and 180 kilometres east of Albany. The town has a population of about 240. Electricity is generated by a wind-diesel hybrid system. Bremer Bay is known for its beautiful beaches; the main beach is only 10 minutes walk from town. A marina at Fishery Beach offers full boating facilities. The Bremer Marine Park lies offshore. 1. Bluff Knoll Stirling Range National Park
Bluff Knoll is the highest peak of the Stirling Range in the Great Southern region of Western Australia . It is 1,099 metres above sea level, and is one of only a few places to experience regular snowfalls in Western Australia, with some snow reported in most years. The last heavy snowfall was on 6 October 1992 when 20 centimetres of snow was recorded and light snow was seen at the base, 450 metres . Snow fell on three occasions in 2016 after only falling once in 2015. Although Bluff Knoll is sometimes claimed to be the highest point in Western Australia, the highest peak is actually Mount Meharry in Karijini National Park in the Hamersley Range, which is 1,249 metres above sea level. Bremer Bay Beaches Resort and Caravan Park - Top Tourist Parks - Discover Downunder

TV presenter Tim Smith from Discover Downunder is checking out The Bremer Bay Beaches Resort and Caravan Park which is located on Point Henry Peninsula at Bremer Bay in the heart of the Great Southern Region of Western Australia on the Fitzgerald Coast. The park is surrounded by seven beaches and has large sites which can cater for 5th wheelers. Tim talks to managers Bill and Sue Crouch about the resort and the many feats with in the park. There are a range of cabins and 89 powered sites including many unpowered sites. Tim also talks to a family on holiday at the park enjoying their stay. The park is also pet friendly and has some great fishing spots around the area.

Easter 2018 at Hoptoun WA

On Easter Sunday we all went West on a 4WD adventure to Quoin Head. Its only about 50kms or so drive from Hopetoun past Culham Inlet and Mt Barren. The headland at Quoin Head protects a beautiful little inlet and beach sheltered from the wind on an otherwise rugged coastline. The drive in is spectacular but fun and definitely a 4WD with good clearance is needed.
We stopped in at Hammersley Inlet on the way back to Hopetoun and had a look around there too. Another great Camping and picnic destination in the Fitzgerald River National Park. I really need to spend a few weeks at Hopetoun to have a really good look around. Plenty of exploring to do thats for sure.

Seven Mile Beach - Western Australia

Seven Mile Beach is 10 Km north of the town of Dongara.

Self-contained vehicles are allowed to stay for up to 72 hours. Self-contained means NO WATER TO GROUND from your caravan or RV.

There is a skip bin for rubbish but no other facilities.

Boats can be launched from the beach but care should be taken as conditions can vary greatly and changes of weather occur very quickly in this area.

Narrogin - Western Australia

Narrogin is one of the largest inland towns in Western Australia.

Cereal crops, pigs and sheep are the area's main industries. The town is a support centre for the surrounding area and businesses include an abattoir, furniture making, fire appliance manufacture, brick works, concrete products and aluminium and steel construction.

There are two good campsites near Narrogin located at Yornanning Dam and at Congelin. Both have toilets and BBQs. There is a good range of other accommodation available in the town and plenty to see in the surrounding area.
