Amelia Island is home to the largest petanque club in the United States. After working up a sweat, it is time to catch some dinner. Colleen heads out on a shrimping charter and follows up with a cooking lesson at the Amelia Island Culinary Academy to prepare shrimp the whole family will enjoy.
The visit to Amelia Island is complete with a stop at Pirate Playground, a very special playground that welcomes children of all abilities. And if you time a visit to Amelia Island just right, you might even get to experience watching sea turtles make their way back to the ocean. Fernandina Beach and Fort Clinch on Amelia Island, Florida - RV Travel
