Tour Cool San Marcos on yoloTX TV
yoloTX visits cool San Marcos.
Drive in to San Marcos’ historic downtown, and you’ll find colorful art installments and is known for having the country’s largest outlet mall, but its historic downtown is full of colorful art and culture. San Marcos became the recent home of Mermaid statues that represent the uniqueness of this quirky town. Mermaids have historic ties to the city and now are a staple in the town. The 1950’s attractions are taking back the town and even the streets of Downtown San Marcos for Promenade and Aqua Faire on September 22nd.
We even enjoyed some shopping at River Rose and some brew at Middleton Brewery to take in even more of Central Texan culture!
With so many things to attract you to San Marcos, it can be hard to choose what to do first. From exciting outdoor adventures to the largest outlet shopping center in the U.S. - let's plan your next #SMTXperience! #sanmarcostexas #yolotx
Whether you’re planning that family summer vacation, your next romantic getaway, a girls’ shopping marathon, or a professional conference with all the bells and whistles, San Marcos always has something to celebrate.
Conveniently located in Central Texas between Austin and San Antonio, San Marcos truly is in the center of everything. So no matter where you are, you won’t have far to go.
San Marcos has been a favorite destination for more than 12,000 years. An underwater archeological dig in Spring Lake at the Headwaters of the San Marcos River uncovered artifacts dating back to the Clovis Indians, the oldest known inhabitants of the western hemisphere.
San Marcos boasts a unique multicultural heritage and history where Hispanic, African-American, German, Anglo and other cultural influences are a part of everyday life.
Texas State University is the state's fifth largest university with more than 38,000 students. Every day is a great day to be a Bobcat!

Kerrville Schreiner Park & Flat Rock Park - Texas - Drone Air Tour
It was a beautiful day to take the drone flying and do an air tour of the Kerrville Schreiner Park and Flat Rock Park, located in Kerrville Texas.
The Guadalupe River has been dammed up to form the Kerrville Lake. The lake isn't all the wide or dee, but it is a great place to do some kayaking, Tubing or just relax in the many shade trees on the shoreline.
Both of the Parks are very nice and worth visiting.
Thanks for watching

Garner State Park
Built by the CCC in the 1930s, Garner has long been one of the most popular parks in the state, and with good reason. From the spring fed Frio River, to the vast hiking trails, to the summer dances, there is a lot here. That’s why generations of Texans have been making this Hill Country gem the place to be year round.
