Why Are Californians Moving to Idaho?
Many former Californians now call Idaho home and the numbers show. A recent U.S. Census report on state-to-state migration found that 1 out of every 4 people who moved to Idaho came from California.
The Boise Metropolitan Area has experienced a massive population boom in recent years. In 2018, the population of Meridian, Idaho surpassed 100,000 - a staggering 900% increase since 1990! In neighboring Eagle, Idaho, the population increased 233% from 1990 to 2000.

Friendly advice to anybody driving thru such Border Patrol Checkpoints:
- roll down all windows of your vehicle BEFORE approaching the checkpoint area except in bad weather,
- prepare in advance any valid piece of ID, for foreigners that's a valid passport,
- politely and respectfully answer any of the Qs an agent might ask you,
- do not be belligerent and confrontational with BP agents, they are out there just to do their job and that's to protect American ppl from any transportation of illegal drugs/guns/migrants coming from south of the border,
- always show them RESPECT, they all deserve our entire gratitude for putting their lives on the line to protect the country from transportation of illegal products or migrants.
Last part of the video, the only Rest Area on Hwy 77 btwn Corpus Christi and Brownsville, Texas.
Rest Area located right after you have cleared this particular Border Patrol Checkpoint.
This Rest Area serves N/B and S/B traffic on Hwy 77.

Houston - City Video Guide
Houston is the most populous city in Texas and one of the largest cities in the USA, situated near the Gulf of Mexico.
Built on the businesses of energy, shipping and aerospace, Houston is also a very cultural city. Beneath the downtown skyline, the parklands of Discovery Green are filled with striking public art. Some of the most popular institutions in the nearby Museum District are the Menil Collection, Rothko Chapel and the Museum of Fine Arts.
Hermann Park, also within the district, is home to the soaring Pioneer Memorial and the Reflecting Pool. Set within the park is the Houston Arboretum and Nature Center.
Kids will love the rides at Galveston Historic Pleasure Pier. The city's biggest attraction, of course, is Space Center Houston, where you'll experience mankind's greatest adventure.
