Marysville Trip 2017
My wife and I took a small trip over to Marysville, WA. to visit with some family and we had a lot of fun while we were there.
Vibe Marysville - Melbourne's Yarra Valley
Vibe Marysville is just 90 minutes from Melbourne in the Yarra Valley. It offers a stylish, contemporary hotel to relax and discover one of Australia’s most beautiful regions.
Best of all it is situated right in the heart of town. So once there you can forget about the car.
Nestled in the forested foothills of Victoria’s Great Dividing Range, Marysville has been a favourite getaway of Melburnians for generations.
The picturesque setting, crystal clear Seavensonriver that meaders through the centre of town, waterfalls, walking trails, bike trails, snow at Lake Mountain and a host of other outdoor recreation opportunities that the natural environment of the Yarra Ranges National Park provides will have you getting back to nature in no time. All while you enjoy the modern comforts of brand new Hotel.
Be inspired by the beauty of this region. From the local art, spectacular views of the Yarra Ranges National Park and Cathedral Ranges right through to the superb Radius Bar & Grill featuring premium locally sourced produce.
Guest rooms are comfortable and modern and the business facilities are well-equipped. Recharge or refresh in the wellness area, or explore the local area at your leisure before you relax and cool down with a swim in the outdoor pool.
Whatever the reason for your visit, Vibe Hotel Marysville is the perfect place to connect and reconnect.

Daylesford, Victoria | Melbourne day trip
Last weekend we went for a drive out to Daylesford, the first time we had ever been there. Daylesford is located about 116 kilometres north west of the city of Melbourne. Daylesford is most commonly known as spa country because it contains the largest concentration of natural mineral spring water in Australia.
But we stuck to the free things and cheap things to do in the area.
If you have any suggestions for where we should go next, feel free to comment below! :)

TRAVEL AUSTRALIA 4 MARYSVILLE
Driving south from the Gold Coast on the New England Highway in 2010 the land was so green and often the fields were full of yellow or white dandelions, We travel through the Yarra Valley where the devasting fires of Black Saturday reaked havoc and destruction resulting in the loss of many lives both human and wildlife. In this video we also take a look at the Healsville Sanctuary and introduce you to some of Australias wildlife, including the Platypus first bred here by David Fleay.
Otway Treetop Walk - A must do in Victoria Australia

Family Camping at Marysville
We took an extended Australia Day 2018 weekend trip to Marysville and checked out some of the attractions in the area.
Steavenson Falls - Marysville | dotheyarravalley.com.au
Tania from Do The Yarra Valley visits Steavenson Falls in Marysville. These spectacular waterfalls are a must visit attraction. The walking paths and viewing platforms have all been rebuilt since the bush fires devastated the area. You can walk to the top of the falls along a well made path and enjoy the majestic views from the top viewing platform.
Welcome to Marysville and to the Marysville Mobile Application
The Visit Marysville mobile application has been developed to guide visitors on their exploration of the town and accompany them on the beautiful nature walks. It contains places to visit and things to see and do in all seasons. There are audio stories about the events and people that built the town, a field guide for native animals and special places recommended by locals. This video shows you how to download the app and what you will find in the app to help you get the most out of your visit.
Melbourne Day Trips: Wilson's Prom
During my four months in Australia, I took five day trips to popular destination outside of Melbourne. Out of the five, I definitely saw the most wildlife (wombats and kangaroos!) at Wilsons Prom. No trip to Australia would be complete without kangaroos, so if you are heading “down under”, I strongly suggest you check out Wilsons Prom!
