Great Barrier Reef from Cairns in Tropical North Queensland
Think Great Barrier Reef, think Cairns – and for good reason. Cairns is one of the most accessible ways of discovering this World Heritage-listed treasure.
From the Cairns Marina, you are spoilt for reef-boat choice. To help you navigate the degustation of tour offerings, the team from Queensland Weekender will help you:
• Check out the Quicksilver Group where you can spend the day snorkelling and scuba-ing on the Great Barrier Reef;
• Enjoy an experience you’ll never forget as you sleep on the reef with Sunlover by Starlight, a pontoon, smack bang on the middle of the reef.
• Take a helicopter over the reef to see all the blues and greens with the ultimate birds-eye view

Australia Country Life! I love Cows - Driving on a Horse Race Track - R & R Vlog
So here’s a cool fact about Matt’s dad, he owns and trains racing horses. His dad has been doing this job his whole life and absolutely loves it. Doing something you love is so important to me and it’s cool to see Matt’s dad following his dreams.
We also got to take a personal “behind the scenes” tour of the practice race track and stables the horses live in.
Side note, I don’t look too happy at the beginning of this video because Matt was telling me to turn off the camera. But how could I? Look at those beautiful Gum trees!

Bruntons Bridge Walhalla
One place to see if you get the chance while visiting Gippsland is the old railway bridge near Walhalla, Victoria, called Bruntons Bridge. This bridge was constructed for the train to head into the hills to collect wood for the Long Tunnel Mine in Walhalla. The hills were completely stripped, so the railway had to travel further to collect wood. Although the bridge cannot be seen in this video the country in the background can give a definite idea of how harsh the conditions are in this area.
My little sister is driving my ute across the Thomson river where this bridge is located.
