Lions Club Easter Market 2015 - Charlton, Victoria.
This is a quick walk around the Easter market held by The Lions Club in Charlton Victoria, Australia on Monday the 6th of April 2015.
Charlton is a small rural town of approximately 950 people, on the edge of the Mallee in the north west of the state. Nonetheless. this market attracts a good number of traders, these being locals, from surrounding areas & from interstate. It also attracts lots of buyers from the town & surrounding areas.

M*A*S*H - Getting to the MASH 4077 film set location in Malibu Creek Park California in Full HD.
If you enjoy my work please click subscribe:
While in Los Angeles for the 2013 Ten-Four event ( ), The wife and I also wanted to visit the location of the MASH or M*A*S*H film set in Malibu Creek State Park. In the same area are other film locations including where Butch and Sundance leaped into the lake and where the village used in the Planet of the Apes was built. It is around a 4 mile hike down Crags Road in the park, but quite doable if you take plenty of water and dress for the conditions. The scenery is incredible and well worth the effort. I am just sorry the video does not do it justice, but all I had with me was a cheap and old pocket camera. Also please forgive me the puffing and wheezing, but I am nearly seventy..
If you are thinking of doing the hike and want any advice, please feel free to ask.You should also look at before you attempt it.
Guess which one I'm REALLY afraid of in Thailand's Forest? Thailand forest is generally pretty safe if you don't have the large animals to worry about like Tigers, Bears, Elephants, Leopards, and other wild cats. Most forests in Thailand do not have tigers, elephants, and big leopards or other wild cats. Most have bears, but I have never heard of a bear attacking someone in Thailand. Not yet, anyway.
Snakes are a problem. One snake really - the Malayan Pit Viper. They are common and very dangerous snakes in the rainforest, pretty much all over the country. They have a horribly necrotic venom.
Elephants in the forest can be a problem - you should always know which animals are in the forest you're walking around in, or camping in. Camping in Thailand can be dangerous when you don't know what the dangers are. I don't go in forest with elephants, they are mainly in Bangkok area parks (east and west of Bangkok) and north.
Tigers are somewhat common on the Burma (Myanmar) border. Rubber tappers get taken by a tiger about once a year or so. That's how many times we hear about it. Maybe it happens more often.
Scorpions hurt, but there are no real deadly scorpions in the country.
Spiders hurt, but the real dangerous spiders - the brown recluse or the black widow - are not common, if they are even here at all. I've never seen either in the forest.
Bees are a problem. Don't mess with them. Don't swing at them. Certainly don't kill one. They leave a scent in the air that calls hundreds of other bees to come and sting you. You can die, some people die each year from bees. Probably one of the worst ways to die, I'd think.
People in the forest are not usually a problem. I never had a problem with anyone in the rainforest in Krabi, Phuket, Ubon, Sisaket, Surat, Trang, or anywhere else. There are hunters and rubber tappers in the forest at night. Sometimes guys who trap birds in nets check their nets at night.
Is Thailand's Forest Dangerous?
Yes, and no. With caution, you will be fine. There are very few deaths from any wild animals each year in Thailand. If you're cautious - you'll be fine.
