The Westmoreland District in Houston Texas

I took a trip to the museum district to catch a video show at the Contemporary Art Museum last week. At the same time, I thought I would shoot some video of my own to show you one of my favorite neighborhoods in Houston. Located close to the Museum District, the Westmoreland Historic District is a small neighborhood of mostly Victorian homes with a few other styles sprinkled in for an eclectic blend. As you'll see, the styles range from grand, pillared mansions to humble post war apartments.
Since I moved recently from Los Angeles, my reference would be to liken this neighborhood to an area like South Pasadena. In my blog, you can read more about what it's like to move from the beaches of Santa Monica to The Woodlands near Houston.
