Murtoa is a wheat district town in Victoria, Australia, situated around Lake Marma on the Wimmera Highway, 305 kilometres north-west of the state capital, Melbourne. The town is in the Shire of Yarriambiack local government area. At the 2016 census, Murtoa had a population of 865 and is located around 30 kilometres from Horsham, a major city in the Wimmera region. The name Murtoa is believed to come from a local Aboriginal word meaning home of the lizard. 1. Grampians National Park Victoria
The Grampians National Park , commonly referred to as The Grampians, is a national park located in the Grampians region of Victoria, Australia. The 167,219-hectare national park is situated between Stawell and Horsham on the Western Highway and Dunkeld on the Glenelg Highway, 260 kilometres west of Melbourne and 460 kilometres east of Adelaide. Proclaimed as a national park on 1 July 1984 , the park was listed on the Australian National Heritage List on 15 December 2006 for its outstanding natural beauty and being one of the richest indigenous rock art sites in south-eastern Australia. The Grampians feature a striking series of sandstone mountain ranges.

Trans Australian Railway Centenary Train at Keswick. 14-9-2012.

The 14th of September 2012 marks 100 years since General Lord Denman turned the first sod to build the Trans-Australian Railway Line in Port Augusta (South Australia). To mark this occasion a special train ran from Adelaide to Port Augusta and return.

This train was unique as the Australasian Railway Association (ARA) had asked freight operators Pacific National, QR National, Specialised Container Transport (SCT), Genesee & Wyoming Australia (GWA) and Chicago Freight Car Leasing Australia (CFCLA) to each provide a locomotive for the special train.

In total 6 diesel locomotives were provided with the consist being:
Pacific National locomotive 9305
QR National locomotive 6022
SCT locomotive CSR004
CFCLA locomotive G512
G&W locomotive GWU006
Pacific National locomotive NR18 (In new Indian Pacific yellow livery).

The special train also consisted of 5 carriages for special guests and dignitaries, the consist being:
HM 958 -- GSR Luggage Car
AFC 305 - GSR Gold Lounge Car
DF 934 -- GSR Gold Dining Car
AG 374 -- GSR Sit up Car
HGM 297 -- GSR Power Van.

This video shows the train at Great Southern Railways Adelaide Parklands Terminal (Keswick Interstate Rail Terminal in South Australia) then departing for the journey to Port Augusta.
