Kerrville, Texas Roadtrip - Vlog
We visit Kerrville Texas
Kerrville is a small town just outside of Fredericksburg Texas and has plenty of beautiful areas to enjoy and hang out at.
Honestly we were limited on time in Kerrville so we did not get to enjoy most of this city, I hope to return soon when we have more time to spare.
By the way this is a great place to stay between Fredericksburg, Austin, and San Antonio if you are visiting the Texas Hill Country.

Enchanted Rock: Visit Fredericksburg TX
Hi, Daryl Whitworth here at one of my favorite places in the Texas Hill Country -- Enchanted Rock.
I used to come here as a kid 30 years ago and now I often bring my kids here to hike and enjoy this beautiful part of the Hill Country. This is one of the best places in Central Texas for hiking and rock climbing.
Enchanted Rock is a huge, pink granite dome, that covers over a square mile. It is the second largest granite outcropping (batholith-underground rock formation uncovered by erosion) in the United States.
The Enchanted Rock State Natural Area is located 18 miles north of Fredericksburg on Ranch Road 965.
It is known as Enchanted Rock because the Native Americans in the area believed it was haunted due the noises made by the granite; plus the rock will glisten in the moonlight.
Things to do:
• Hiking
• Technical Rock climbing
• Primitive Camping
• Geological study
• Bird and wildlife watching
• Star gazing (minimal light pollution)
Enchanted Rock is pet-friendly, but pets must be on a leash.
During peak seasons (March to June and October to December), the park may reach parking capacity, requiring the park to temporarily close on weekends (sometimes as early as 11 a.m.). The park will reopen when sufficient parking is available.
The park is open 7 days a week year-round from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.
And admission is: $6 adults; children 12 and younger are admitted free.

Celebrate July Fourth in Fredericksburg: Visit Fredericksburg TX
Pull on your red, white and blue and join us in Fredericksburg, Texas on the Fourth of July for an all-American parade down our historic Main Street, lined with American flags.
Each year we start July 4th at 8:00 a.m. with a Kiddie Parade at Marktplatz, featuring bicycles, pets, wagons and kiddos decked out in their patriotic best.
Then all eyes turn to the skies at 10:00 a.m. when an airplane flyover signals the start of the community parade on Main Street. What's really fun is that the parade loops around, but remains on Main Street, so you enjoy double the fun as floats run east and west at the same time.
Patriotic events and activities continue the rest of the day. Immediately following the parade, you can enjoy patriotic music at Marktplatz.
July 4th is also the day Becker Vineyards hosts its annual Chili Cookoff, Pedernales Cellars hosts is annual kite festival and Luckenbach Texas hosts its Live Free and Fly celebration with its world-famous lawn mower parade.
As the events wind down for the day in our beautiful Texas Hill Country town, there is still one more event you can't miss—the fireworks. Join us at dark-thirty for the Fourth of July fireworks show at Lady Bird Johnson Municipal Park on the edge of town. It's the perfect ending to July Fourth in Fredericksburg.
