Moriac is a rural town in Victoria, Australia, located approximately 25 kilometres west of Geelong. It forms part of the Surf Coast Shire. At the 2016 census, Moriac had a population of 782.The town was surveyed in the 1920s as a village that had developed around the Moriac railway station on the Port Fairy line. The station had been provided to serve the adjacent community of Mount Moriac. The railway through Moriac opened in 1876, followed by the Wensleydale branch line which junctioned with the main line just past Moriac. The branch line opened in 1890 and closed in 1948. Werribee Open Range Zoo is an African themed zoo in Werribee, about 32 kilometres south-west of Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. It is part of the Zoological Parks and Gardens Board or 'Zoos Victoria' which also includes Melbourne Zoo and Healesville Sanctuary. It is situated on approximately 225 hectares and is located on the Werribee River in Werribee Park, adjacent to the Werribee Mansion. It was originally agistment land to the Melbourne Zoo.

2. Erskine Falls Lorne
The Erskine River is a river in southwestern Victoria, Australia. It arises in the Otway Ranges and enters Bass Strait to the east of Cape Otway through the town of Lorne. The Erskine River above the falls is known for its high diversity of native fish species and low occurrence of introduced species.

A small sheltered grove of Coast Redwoods, Sequoia sempervirens, can be found about 5 km south of Beech Forest in the Otway Ranges in southwestern Victoria. The trees, known by some as Californian Redwoods, were one of many conifer species planted experimentally at different locations in what was to become the fledgling Aire Valley Plantation. The trees, planted in 1936 by the Forests Commission Victoria, were initially slow to establish but have thrived and grown to a height of over 60 metres. Measurements in 2004 show the trees have the potential to reach as tall as their Californian counterparts if left undisturbed from bushfire, pests and disease, or trampling by tourism.The site has become a popular tourist destination in the Great Otway National Park and has also been classified as a...

Hello All,
Welcome to another heritage video.
Today we take a look at Steamrail Victoria's charter train The Warrnambool Westcoaster.
The service made use of former Super R locomotive R711 Spirit of Bendigo.
The tour sees locomotive R711 and 7 Ex-Victorian Railway's livery carriages power along the mainline to Warrnambool marking the first steam service to go to Warrnambool since West Coast Railways ceased operations in 2004.
The service is by the special work of Edward White as the charterer of the service.
The train leaving Southern Cross at 8:45AM with it's top speed of 115kph beyond Geelong.
This service also made special tibute to two idividuals Gary McDonald and Trevour Kruger.

The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) was initiated by the Australian Government for Australians with a disability, including people with intellectual, physical, sensory and psycho-social disabilities. It creates a managed market for disability services in Australia. The NDIS is established by the National Disability Insurance Scheme Act 2013. The NDIS commenced being rolled out nationally on 1 July 2016.
