V/Line trains in Warrnambool and south-west Victoria: September 2018
Warning: This video contains a questionable intro and outro, and both the Collingwood and West Coast football club songs! It's no surprise then given the number of times I've been swooped by magpies this month!

V/Line trains in W'bool + SW Victoria: 6th, 9th and 11th November 2018 [Armistice Centenary]
V/Line trains ran to a Saturday timetable on the 6th, given it was the Melbourne Cup Day public holiday, even though it was otherwise a normal day in most places outside Melbourne (I was at TAFE).
Road coaches took the place of the 9:25 am V/Line service from Warrnambool to Melbourne on the 9th. I had planned on going to Terang that morning, but I wasn't able to. I eventually went on the 12:07 pm train to Terang and returned later in the afternoon.
11th November 2018 (Remembrance Day) marked 100 years since the end of World War I, with the signing of the armistice to end the great war. It was the first time I attended a Remembrance Day ceremony, at least in Warrnambool.
4/19/18 Preview: AMTK 456 grabs Overland and Pacific Trail PVs and Display Lounge at LAUPT
Due to a mechanical issue from the lounge car that was brought in on Southwest Chief #4, it was decided that they would take the lounge car from the California Passenger Rail Summit 2018 displays to put on the Southwest Chief #4 while the front half of train 4 takes the bad ordered lounge and backs it and the front half into the protect track between tracks 10 and 11 while LAUPT Protect F59PHI 456 pushes in the display lounge and 2 other railcars that tagged along. This is just one of several clips if this neat yet not so great for crew switch operation. Since Conductor Bill's private railcars Overland Trail and Pacific Trail were in front of the lounge, they were also taken from Track 15 to Track 11 as well so a little short excursion movement for those 2 PVs as well. After putting on the lounge, Bill's 2 PVs were then sent right back to Track 15 where they sat for most of the night with the other displays minus the Patrick Henry PVs and a lounge car.
More to eventually come! Thanks for watching! JonRailVideos2018(7 yrs)
