Mildura is a regional city in north-west Victoria, Australia. Located on the Victorian side of the Murray River, Mildura had a population of 33,444 in 2016. When nearby Wentworth, Irymple, Nichols Point and Merbein are included, the area had an estimated urban population of 50,998 at June 2016. It is the largest settlement in the Sunraysia region. Mildura is a major horticultural centre notable for its grape production, supplying 80% of Victoria's grapes. Many wineries also source grapes from Mildura.   • 1. Mildura Riverfront Mildura
    The Mildura railway line is a railway line in Victoria, Australia. It runs from Ballarat in an approximate north-norwesterly direction to Mildura. Initial sections of the line opened from Ballarat in 1874 and the line reached Mildura in 1903. It has nine main stations. Passenger services ceased on the line in 1993, but freight services continued to be operated on the line by Pacific National. An announcement was made in 2006 for passenger services to be re-introduced to Mildura after a 13-year absence, under the Linking Victoria program. Passenger services were reintroduced from Ballarat to Maryborough in July 2010.
