EXPLORING GRAN CANARIA: Tour of historic center of TEROR (Spain)
SUBSCRIBE: - A walking tour of Teror, Gran Canaria, Spain. Vic Stefanu, vstefanu@yahoo.com. Gran Canaria is one of Spain’s Canary Islands, off northwestern Africa. It's known for the white-sand beaches stretching along its southern coast, from happening Playa del Inglés and Puerto Rico to quieter, family-oriented Puerto de Mogán and San Agustín. The northern capital, Las Palmas, is a popular stop for cruise ships and duty-free shopping, while the island’s interior is rural and mountainous.
Las Terranas Town, Samana Province, Dominican Republic - Caribbean island holiday
Watch all our Gran Bahia Principe El Portillo videos here:
We are in the town of Las Terrenas located in the Samaná province of the Dominican Republic. This is a walking tour of the town which starts on the Las Terranas main road and also includes a walk on the beach road. We where there in December and this is actually New Year (31/12). The video follows our walk up the main road where we try to give the viewer an idea of the atmosphere of this rather small Caribbean island fishing town. The main road offers tourists a limited number of shops, restaurants and excursion sale agents. On the beach road there are a few more restaurants and bars and also a very limited local shopping center. As tourists who enjoy visiting local towns in the destinations we visit we where rather disappointed with the Town of Las Terranas. Our opinion (just our opinion) was that the town lacked the local (Dominican) business and culinary experiences that you for example meet in Asia. Street kitchens etc. although local art was very abundant!! The Les Terranas area is full of hotels catering to all needs. Many of the hotels are big all inclusive resorts which are very popular with Canadian and American tourists, also the European charter tourists who typically seem to stay at these resorts for 14 days (just as we ourselves did).

Majorca or Mallorca (/məˈjɔrkə/ or /-ˈdʒɔr-/; Catalan: Mallorca [məˈʎɔrkə], Spanish: Mallorca [maˈʎorka]) is the largest island in the Balearic Islands archipelago, which are part of Spain and located in the Mediterranean Sea.
The capital of the island, Palma, is also the capital of the autonomous community of the Balearic Islands. The Balearic Islands have been an autonomous region of Spain since 1983.The Cabrera Archipelago is administratively grouped with Majorca (in the municipality of Palma). The anthem of Majorca is La Balanguera.
Like the other Balearic Islands of Minorca, Ibiza and Formentera, the island is an extremely popular holiday destination, particularly for tourists from Germany and the United Kingdom. The international airport, Palma de Mallorca Airport, is one of the busiest in Spain; it was used by 23.1 million passengers in 2014.
The name derives from Latin insula maior, larger island; later Maiorica, the larger one in comparison to Minorca, the smaller one.

Constanza Dominican Republic - Bountiful Harvests In The Mountains - Part 1
Constanza Dominican Republic is not only the source of countless bountiful harvests of fresh vegetables and fruits, it is also a feast for your eyes. The team headed out to explore the mountains and valleys surrounding Constanza. This was our first foray into this area and we were not disappointed. As you will see in this video and part 2, everywhere you look you are treated to breathtaking mountain panoramas and hillside farms. Endless farms of cabbages, strawberry's, apples, peaches, garlic and potatoes... to name a few. Constanza is also home to a wide variety of flowers, roses and other landscape plants.
I would not recommend this trip through rocky and sometimes almost washed out roads without a 4 wheel vehicle, or maybe a truck with larger tires. But with the right vehicle, this trip from Cabrera over to Constanza is a real treat for the eyes.

Tucked round the corner from Port d'Andratx, Cala Llamp Bay has one of the most stunning views in Mallorca. The Tramuntana mountains create high cliffs all around, forming a crescent bay with calm, beautifully clear water.
It's probably better suited to those not so interested in sun bathing but in swimming in the lovely waters and exploring the rock pools. The area is around 100 metres long and 20 metres deep, and there are no facilities other than those at the beach club
