SITGES
.............
Sitges is a lovely Mediterranean coastal city, a seaside resort some 35km southwest of Barcelona in Catalunya, Spain. Sitges is a seaside town with great beaches and excellent tourist facilities.
Recognized as one of the most charming cities and prestige of the northeast shore, enjoys a temperate and mild micro climate, which means that visitors may enjoy enviable temperatures every month of the year Sitges has one of most vibrant and hippest homosexual scenes on the coast.
The beaches are extremely vibrant and fun! The city, which overlooks the Mediterranean has big paths, narrow roads, four museums and the stunning shores of Costa Dorada/Golden Coast.
Sitges offers a large range of restaurants. You will find that best suits your taste. The Mediterranean cuisine is provided in high quality level in the majority of institutions. Highly recommended to attempt establishments.
Sitges has a wide selection of shops, town center roads are filled with little stores that enable customers to satisfy their consumption needs. The Main Street, The Parellades road, The Cap de la Vila, Jesus Street, the Sant Francesc road,... are some of the most commercial streets of the town centre.
There are assorted craftworks goods Sitges, are famous miniature reproductions of the most characteristic elements of the Local Festa Major.
In Sitges (unlike local Barcelona) all the stores are permitted to open on Sundays. You will find a wide range of fashion stores across the city. Several of them take top brands.
Pedestrian streets on town centre get quite crowded on Sunday afternoons with tourists and people from Barcelona purchasing. Be mindful that several stores on the day open only after 17:30 and keep open until 21:00.

Manor for sale with hotel license close to Barcelona, La Garriga | 12608
Fine old manor on sale in the suburbs of Barcelona. It is very sought-after offer of real estate in Spain in terms of historical, functional and dimensional characteristics. The house will be an ideal acquisition for those wishing to buy a property for permanent residence just 30 minutes from Barcelona or as an investment.
The property is a complex of buildings and lands with different destination: residential, agricultural and sports.
Living spaces
The total construction area of the estate is approximately 2,500 m2, of which should be allocated
- Residential premises of 1996 m2 total that include the 18th-century building of 950 m2 used as a main house, guest house and house for workers and servants.
The main house has kept all the typical characteristics of a bygone era: there are spacious and elegant lobby, a large number of salons for different purposes (fire hall, library, billiard room), a large dining room, spacious kitchen with professional refrigeration equipment and utility rooms, 8 bedrooms with bathrooms and so on. The house has an elevator.
The guest house is a standalone building with a kitchen, living-dining room, 2 bedrooms, bathroom.
House for personnel consists of two apartments with kitchens and six bedrooms total.

- 440 m2 of sports facilities
Garden and land
Thus, buildings area total is 2,500 m2, all in perfect condition, with permanent maintenance, and are complemented by a large well-kept garden and a private forest area of 25 hectares.
Garden with automatic irrigation and a variety of seating areas, beautiful secluded corners and pavilions, among other things, the garden has a heated pool size 18 X10 m, as well as a barbecue area with kitchen, dining and seating area. The splendor of the garden is enclosed in a large number of old trees, exotic flowers, as well as beautiful garden sculptures.
Flowering garden state is maintained by 4 wells, providing water to all the masia needs for decades. For the drinking water 4 deposits are used with total of 500,000 liters of water with a professional purifying filter.
Forest and agricultural lands with fruit-bearing olive trees in the amount of 750 pieces, are surrounded by a fence.
Economic use
Buying this masia in Barcelona means to buy a multifunctional business that is not limited by the agricultural methods. The main economic purpose of the estate is to grow and to train the horses, so there are all the necessary accompanying buildings.
There is a possibility of expanding the activities of this wonderful real estate offer by starting up of a small boutique hotel or a small spa-hotel in the suburbs of Barcelona, thanks to the existing residential buildings that are easily adapted to the hotel, as well as already existing permission for its opening. Thus, the masia could be studied as investment proposal of the hotel business in Spain.

Barcelona, Spain Travel Guide - St. John's Festival
See the festive side of Barcelona on St John's (Sant Joan) Day.
Timings/Hours
Occurs on June 24th every year.
June 24th, known as San Juan, is celebrated throughout Spain. It is also the longest day of the year, or midsummer day. City wide celebrations take place in Barcelona on the eve of San Juan. Streets are heavily decorated, the event is celebrated with loads of color, bonfire, and fireworks.
The old tradition of burning useless objects to celebrate the summer solstice is still followed. The best place to enjoy this festival is at beaches where it is most crowded. People from all ages celebrate with party and crackers thoroughout the night. During the day they eat traditional coca and drink wine.
The Tradition of the Coca, where does it come from? It has always been like this, it has always been made like this, with fruits, various fillings like custard cream, it has always been a tradition. Yes, everyone goes to the beach, everyone wishes each other well, positive thoughts and then go swimming and you burn the bad thoughts. I am Montse Triola with my coca, showing you Barcelona.
