Leaving the Ibis budget and heading on the road once again. Showing some of the places we visit, like The great ocean road, The blue lake and another campsite we stay at. We also give you tips on how to make your own road trip documentary on YouTube.

Just a quick note this Road Trip series should not be taken too seriously, we do give out good advice, costs and brilliant sights but this is purely to make you laugh as well as inspire you to go on your own road trip.

88 - Road Trippin' South Australia

There comes a time when you're just ready to get away from boats for a while. And after a years worth of sailing, capped off by several weeks of projects, we had reached that point.

In order to recharge our batteries, we left Starry Horizons on the hard and set out for a six week tour around Australia. To start things off, we flew down to Canberra to explore Australia's capital. We really enjoyed the city, though that may have been slightly influenced by the personalized tour we got of Parliament House, thanks to one of our awesome followers!

Next we flew over to Adelaide where we went diving in search of leafy sea dragons, marveled at Adelaide Fringe and then set off on a road trip across South Australia towards Melbourne. We were headed towards the fabled Great Ocean Road, but were pleasantly surprised at all the things to see and do before we got there. Amy particularly enjoyed all the small seaside towns and let's just say I made sure we constantly kept moving, otherwise she might have never left!
