Pecos Texas Road Tour West Texas 80 MPH! 4k
Pecos Texas Road Tour . This video starts out in Midland Texas leaving town on west Interstate 20 towards Pecos Texas.
Pecos is the largest city in and the county seat of Reeves County, Texas, United States. It is situated in the river valley on the west bank of the Pecos River at the eastern edge of the Chihuahuan Desert and the Trans-Pecos region of west Texas and near the southern border of New Mexico.
Pecos is one of the numerous towns in West Texas organized around a train depot during the construction of the Texas and Pacific Railway. These towns were subsequently linked by the construction of U.S. Highway 80 and Interstate 20. Prior to the arrival of the railroad, a permanent camp existed nearby where cattle drives crossed the Pecos River.

Balmorhea State Park, Texas [Official]
The crystal clear springs of Balmorhea State Park are an oasis in the west Texas desert. Located in the foothills of the Davis Mountains, Balmorhea offers visitors the unique opportunity to swim and snorkle in a natural spring-fed pool. The 1930s-era Spanish-style motel and bathhouse lend the park an old fashioned charm. For more information, visit LifesBetterOutside.org

Miami-Los Angeles flight: Downtown+Miami Beach, Mississippi River Delta, 29 Palms, Big Bear 2016-3-3
Miami's Marlins Park, Biscayne Bay, Miami Beach's condos and the intracoastal waterways rush into view on takeoff toward the Atlantic Ocean.
On completion of the Gulf of Mexico crossing, the Mississippi's birdfoot mouth and the Cajun shoreline of Louisiana unfold.
This is followed by Sabine Lake and the vast refinery urban complex of Port Arthur and Beaumont, and, farther inland, the Texas A&M University city of College Station, located in the midst of Texas's I-10/I-35/I-45 triangle--before the arrival of the oil rigs and the sand hills of central-west Texas.
The arid mountains of Arizona follow, while alpine Big Bear Lake and the peaks of Southern California's Transverse Range to the northeast of Los Angeles, as well as the congested rush-hour freeways at dusk, accompany the descent and final approach to LAX.

Coastal Louisiana's land loss directly contributed to the storms' human toll. In the past, extensive healthy wetlands buffered South Louisiana from storm surge, but with thinning wetlands, oyster reefs and barrier islands, the area's communities have lost much of their natural protection. - More at:

Sometimes, big things really do come in small packages. And big scenery often comes on little roads. State Route 266 is one of the shortest state highways in Arizona — with just under 20 miles of pavement cutting across the rugged rangeland south of Safford — but every mile dishes up dramatic vistas as the road rambles westward along the fringe of the Pinaleño Mountains ....

A Green Jay Survey
As the Rio Grande Valley becomes more urbanized, habitat for wildlife is dwindling. To find out how Green Jays are adapting to the changing environment, biologists are trapping, tagging and tracking these colorful birds.
Fanthorp Inn State Historic Site
Near the spot where Texas declared independence from Mexico, and back when getting places was bumpier and sleeping was lumpier, a stagecoach stop on an old Spanish road evolved into a popular place for weary travelers to rest. Today it is known as Fanthorp Inn State Historic Site.
The Business of Burning
Prescribed fires by the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department are carefully planned events conducted by a specially trained and skilled crew. From the burn boss to the grunt and the engine to the drip torch, see what and who it takes to safely put on a prescribed fire.
