The Great Ocean Road drive through Victoria, Australia is one of the world's greatest and most scenic coastal drives. You will truly feel as though you are driving along the edge of the world. Stand in awe of the limestone cliffs from the beaches below, take a helicopter ride over the 12 Apostles or stop off and spot the world-class surfers taking on the huge swells. While driving on the Great Ocean Road, stop into the Great Otway National Park where you can experience multiple canopy adventures. Spot over 30 species of native wildlife or stop in one of the many boutique villages where you can find locally made coffee or gourmet goodies. Enjoy the Great Ocean Road drive.

It's a coastal highway that gives you some incredible views of the Australian coastline, chances to see Australian wildlife, and even some hiking opportunities. Top tourist attractions in Australia part10 | Great Ocean Road Vocation travel video guide
Every top tourist destination has a spectacular drive, and for Australia it's the Great Ocean Road. Built to provide employment during the Depression, the road stretches for 300 km along Australia's southeast coast from the surfing town of Torquay to the town of Allansford, near Warrnambool in the state of Victoria. The top attraction along the road is the Port Campbell National Park with the wind and wave-sculpted rock formations known as the Twelve Apostles, London Bridge, the Arch, and Loch Ard Gorge. From a helicopter, these rock formations look like giant puzzle pieces lashed by the pounding surf of the Southern Ocean.

The Great Ocean Road is an Australian National Heritage listed 243-kilometre (151 mi) stretch of road along the south-eastern coast of Australia between the Victorian cities of Torquay and Allansford. Built by returned soldiers between 1919 and 1932 and dedicated to soldiers killed during World War I, the road is the world's largest war memorial.
The road traverses rainforests, as well as beaches and cliffs composed of limestone and sandstone, which is susceptible to erosion.[4][5] The road travels via Anglesea, Lorne, Apollo Bay, and Port Campbell, the latter being notable for its natural limestone and sandstone rock formations including Loch Ard Gorge, The Grotto, London Arch (formerly London Bridge) and The Twelve Apostles.
The road is an important tourist attraction in the region.
