from the Moselle via Frankfurt and Berlin to Gothenburg - Germany, Sweden 4K Travel Channel
On our trip from the Moselle to Gothenburg, we first have to take our usual railway line along the Moselle to Koblenz.
We relax and enjoy the beautiful valleys of the Moselle. In Koblenz, we change the train to Frankfurt that travels along the Rhine valley. Even if this is not our first trip along this route, we are always impressed by the beautiful scenery.
In Frankfurt, we switch to an airplane. Since we did not get a direct flight to Gothenburg, we first fly to Berlin. It is still the old Tegel airport, which we have known already for decades. During the approach and departure, the Berlin glacial valley is clearly visible. Once shaped by glaciers, it is characterized today by a number of rivers and lakes.
The stay in Berlin lasts for only approximately 1.5 hours. So there is enough time only for a quick snack and a few photos.
We quickly reached Sweden with its vast forests, that are only interrupted by a few lakes and rivers.
After the landing in Gothenburg, we take a bus to the 10 km remote center. On the way to the city we get a little taste of the sights of the next few days.

Travemünde is a borough of Lübeck, Germany, located at the mouth of the river Trave in Lübeck Bay. It began life as a fortress built by Henry the Lion, Duke of Saxony, in the 12th century to guard the mouth of the Trave, and the Danes subsequently strengthened it. It became a town in 1317 and in 1329 passed into the possession of the free city of Lübeck, to which it has since belonged. Its fortifications were demolished in 1807.
Travemünde has been a seaside resort since 1802, and is Germany's largest ferry port on the Baltic Sea with connections to Sweden, Finland, Russia, Latvia and Estonia. The lighthouse is the oldest on the German Baltic coast, dating from 1539. Another attraction of Travemünde is the Flying P-Liner Passat, a museum ship anchored in the mouth of the Trave.
The annual Travemünder Woche is a traditional sailing race week in Northern Europe. The annual Sand festival in Travemünde is known as the Sand World. See more:
