Keyport is a census-designated place in Kitsap County, Washington, United States. The community is located at the eastern terminus of State Route 308 on the Kitsap Peninsula, 3.42 miles east of Naval Base Kitsap. Keyport's ZIP Code, 98345, had a ZCTA population of 554 at the 2010 census, in addition to a small contingent of Navy personnel. Keyport was named for Keyport, New Jersey in 1896. The Hurricane Ridge Ski and Snowboard Area is a small ski area in the northwest United States, located on the Olympic Peninsula of Washington. It is within Olympic National Park, 17 miles south of Port Angeles. Hurricane Ridge is one of only three lift serviced ski areas operating in a US National Park . It is the westernmost ski area in the continental United States. During months when snow is present, the 17 mile road leading to Hurricane Ridge is prone to avalanches due to high speed wind conditions. Bridges are something we take for granted and never appreciate their importance to us until they get taken away. I take to see some of the bridges I've visited. Maybe we should take a little time and love the bridges we use every day.
In this video I will give you a tour of some of the bridges I've used and been amazed by. The diversity and genius designs are widely different and some of them are truly works of art. I hope you will enjoy seeing them and maybe you will see bridges where you live that intrigue you too.
