Touristic City of São Roque
São Roque is known for its wine production. There tourists can take the Wine Tour and visit the 13 cellars and offer tasting sessions and bottles for sale every day, in addition to the Wine Museum.
In São Roque it is also possible to visit the largest ski resort in Brazil, the Ski Mountain Park. Besides the ski track, tourists can use the cable car, a toboggan and dine at the restaurant.
Sítio Santo Antônio is listed by the National Heritage for over 60 years. Downtown there is the São Benedito church, from 1855, and Brasital, which today is home to a culture center and Darcy Penteado museum.

Flying on TAP Portugal and Roast Chicken (Frango Assado) - Lisbon, Portugal, Travel Guide!

On Day 24 of our Round the World Trip for Food with Star Alliance, in the morning we flew from Barcelona to Lisbon, Portugal on TAP Portugal airline. After checking into our hotel in Lisbon, we had lunch at a rather tourist Portuguese restaurant and then continued to do a little bit of sightseeing in Lisbon. For dinner, I enjoyed a trend Portuguese meal at Taberna da Rua das Flores.
1:30 Star Alliance Flight #7 on TAP Portugal - The first thing we did during the day was head to the Barcelona airport to catch out flight to Lisbon. Our flight was with TAP Portugal airline, and the flight took about one hour. The flight was nothing special, but it was alright and we soon arrived to Lisbon Portela Airport. From the airport, we decided to take the Aero Bus #1 (3.5 EUR per person) to Avenida da Liberdade which was right next to the hotel we would be staying at in Lisbon.
4:34 The Fontecruz Lisboa Hotel (Marriott Hotel) - For our trip to Lisbon, we stayed at The Fontecruz Lisboa Hotel. It’s a boutique hotel in Lisbon, located along the very pleasant Avenida da Liberdade, a wide and tree lined shopping street in Lisbon. I loved the area, and the hotel was alright, but I wasn’t a huge fan of the dark black theme.
7:25 Lunch at Restaurante Bonjardim - When we arrived to Lisbon we hadn’t eaten lunch, so Ying and I were both extremely hungry. Unfortunately we just didn’t have the energy to go very far to eat lunch (Ying was pregnant and she needed to eat fast!). So we went to a Portuguese food restaurant just down the road from our hotel, and though it wasn’t the most local Portuguese restaurant, we were hungry and the location was right (this is how it sometimes works when you’re traveling). We both ordered the frango asado (roast chicken) and then a bowl of aroz Brasileiro, and a bowl of esparregado. The food was alright, not spectacular, but pretty decent, and it did feel great to eat some a big piece of chicken for some good protein. Total price - 25.10 EUR
12:08 Ascensor da Glória (Price - 3.60 EUR per person roundtrip) - One of the coolest things about Lisbon is the history of the city and the fact that it’s so hilly - and for this reason there are some old vintage funiculars in the city. Right across the square from where we ate lunch we went to the Ascensor da Glória and took the funicular up the hill to Miradouro de São Pedro de Alcântara, which is a lookout viewpoint on the top of the hill. The views of Lisbon were spectacular and it was a good place to get my bearings for Lisbon.
14:42 Igreja de São Roque - From the Miradouro de São Pedro de Alcântara, we walked over to Igreja de São Roque, the first Jesuit church in Lisbon. The outside of the church looks quite plain, but inside it’s one of the richest churches in Lisbon.
16:52 Café A Brasileira (Price - 1 EUR per cup) - Café A Brasileira is a legendary coffee shop in Lisbon that was a favorite hangout spot for a number of famous Portuguese poets and writers. I’m happy to report the coffee was amazing, and a decent price as well.
18:48 Taberna da Rua das Flores - For dinner, we walked over to a restaurant called Taberna da Rua das Flores. I have to admit that I was hoping to have some good classic traditional Portuguese food. What I didn’t know was that Taberna da Rua das Flores restaurant only serves Portuguese food for lunch and for dinner they serve a fusion of recipes cooked with Portuguese ingredients. Although a little on the trendy side, the food was excellent. Total price - 32.50 EUR.
It was a good day, I was a little disappointed that I didn’t get really good Portuguese food, but that’s alright, that’s sometimes the way traveling can be. It was still an excellent day and we enjoyed some good restaurants in Lisbon.

1 - Parque do Ibirapuera
Assim como Nova York tem o Central Park, São Paulo tem o Parque do Ibirapuera, um “Oásis” de natureza em meio aos prédios e o trânsito. O parques é um reduto de cultura, prática de esportes e lazer. São 1,590 Km² que abrigam 3 lagos artificiais, quadras poliesportivas, gramados, pistas de corrida, museus (Museu de Arte Contemporânea, Museu de Arte Moderna e Museu Afro-Brasil) e belas paisagens. E ainda tem um auditório para apresentações artísticas.
2 - Avenida Paulista
A mais paulista das avenidas é também um importante ponto turístico e cultural do país. Sedes de bancos, prédios comerciais, a Gazeta, o Masp, hotéis luxuosos, parques e tantos outros pontos importantes estão concentrados lá. Em torno de 200 mil pessoas moram na região. Reserve um dia para caminhar na avenida de ponta a ponta.
3 - Catedral da Sé
Além da sua beleza e da simbologia que a carrega, a Catedral da Sé é considerada um dos 5 maiores templos neogóticos do mundo. Ela é tida também como um símbolo contra a ditadura na época do regime e, nas manifestações de julho de 2013, foi o ponto de encontro de uma das maiores passeatas.
4 - Rua 25 de Março
Imagine um lugar onde você encontra qualquer coisa por um preço acessível. A 25 de março é exatamente isso. Desde bugigangas a vídeo games de última geração podem ser encontrados por aqui. É claro que nem tudo é 100% original e confiável, então vale uma conferida. Os finais de semana são praticamente insuportáveis de andar pela rua. Se você puder, escolha um dia da semana para ir com mais calma e tranquilidade.
5 - MASP
O Museu de Arte de São Paulo Assis Chateaubriand está localizado em outro ponto turístico da cidade, a Av Paulista. O famoso vão livre de 70 metros sustenta o museu mais importante da América Latina, já tendo recebido obras de artistas como Picasso, Monet e Van Gogh. Para entrar no museu é baratinho, R$ 15 a inteira e R$ 7 a meia. Se você puder ir na terça, melhor ainda, já que a entrada é gratuita.
6 - Galeria do Rock
Quem gosta de comprar acessórios ou discos da sua banda de rock preferida, aqui é o seu lugar. Os mais de 450 estabelecimentos comerciais trazem de tudo. Camisetas, fantasias, capinhas de celular, vinil e até tatuagens estão disponibilizados por aqui. Os primeiros andares são mais destinados aos adeptos do hip-hop trazendo tênis e bonés. Os andares de cima são repletos de rock'n'roll e você pode até cruzar com algum ídolo, já que os artistas costumam frequentar a galeria.
7 - Teatro Municipal
Considerado um dos cartões postais da cidade, o teatro foi palco da Semana de Arte Moderna de 1922. Além disso, ele é sede da Orquestra Sinfônica Municipal de São Paulo, Orquestra Experimental de Repertório, Coral Lírico, o Coral Paulistano e o Ballet da cidade de São Paulo.
8 - Torre do Banespa
Localizada no centro de São Paulo, mais especificamente na Rua João Brícola, a torre oferece uma das visões mais incríveis de toda a cidade. Ela foi construída na década de 40 com o intuito de ser semelhante ao Empire State, em Nova York. Além da vista, você pode conferir o acervo do Museu Banespa, que conta com artefatos da história desde a inauguração até hoje.
9 - Estação da Luz
A estação da Luz é um importante ponto do transporte público paulistano por integrar importantes linhas. O entorno da estação é repleto de cultura, como o Museu da Língua Portuguesa e a Pinacoteca do Estado.
10 - Pinacoteca do Estado de São Paulo
Encerramos a lista com um dos museus de arte mais importantes do país: a Pinacoteca do Estado. Ela faz parte do conjunto que envolve a Estação da Luz, o Museu da Língua Portuguesa e o Memorial da Resistência. O museu é o mais antigo da cidade, por isso vale a pena não só conferir os obras que ele abriga como também a sua arquitetura.

Touristic Ciy of Piraju
The main attraction of this city, located in the Southeastern region of São Paulo state, is the Paranapanema River, which crosses the city completely unpolluted. In Guarani language, Piraju means golden fish and reveals the bounty of fish that attracts sport fishermen.
Arco-Íris waterfall, 15 meters high, and Castelo waterfall, 10 meters high, have ponds for bathing and a natural shower. Rivers and lakes are suitable for canoeing and rafting in the river rapids.
Travelers who are looking for a peaceful environment can hike in the forests and by fresh water beaches. The city also offers boat rides in the dam.

Piraju is 320 km of São Paulo (SP).
Car: Rodovia Castello Branco (SP-280) until Avaré, then take SP-255 and Rod. Raposo Tavares (SP-270), then drive 33 km to the access to the city.
