A German/American Love Story--In German
Two German students, Hans and Franz are a couple as they go to America for a semester abroad. When they arrive in America they meet a guy from Boston named Chad. Hans falls for Chad, but Chad is not interested. Franz is annoyed by Chad as a stereotypical American. Chad although is not interested in Hans as he falls for Chad. Chad eventually wins Franz over and convinces him to leave his first lover Hans for him as the film ends.
This was a project for my Beginner German Class 1001 at CIEE Global Institute in Berlin.

Der Bismarckturm auf dem Peterskopf bei Bad Dürkheim
Der Bismarckturm ist ein 36 m hoher Aussichtsturm auf dem 493,5 m ü. NHN hohen Peterskopf im Gebirgszug der Haardt am Ostrand des Pfälzerwaldes. Er steht auf einer Exklave der Ortsgemeinde Kallstadt (Rheinland-Pfalz) und wird wegen der Nähe der Kreisstadt Bad Dürkheim auch Bismarckturm Bad Dürkheim genannt.
Über 14 auf der Westseite außen am Turm angebrachte Treppenstufen ist der Unterbau zu besteigen, von welchem nach links und rechts Treppen auf die 9,4 m hoch gelegene untere Aussichtsplattform führen. Die Gittertür vor dieser Außentreppe ist jedoch verschlossen. Der heute nutzbare Zugang erfolgt zu den Öffnungszeiten von der Ostseite her durch eine Gittertür, einen Innengang entlang der Südseite des Turms, eine zweite Gittertür und über eine 11-stufige Betontreppe zum Unterbau. Auf der Ostseite des Turms befindet sich auf der unteren Aussichtsplattform die Zugangstür zum im Turm verlaufenden Treppenaufgang, der nach 20 Stufen zum Austritt auf die zweite Aussichtsplattform auf 13 m Turmhöhe führt. Die Innentreppe führt über weitere 72 Steinstufen zu einem Podest und von diesem über eine Metallwendeltreppe mit 14 Stufen zur 30 m hoch gelegenen dritten Aussichtsplattform. Vor allem von dort aus ist ein weiter Blick über die teilweise mehr als 400 m tiefer gelegene Oberrheinische Tiefebene möglich.
