The Nassachtal in Germany, Baden-Württemberg
The entrance of the Nassachtals lies in the Filstal between the cities Ebersbach on the Fils and Uhingen.
In the valley is one of the last coal mines in Germany and probably the only private cemetery in Baden-Wuerttemberg.
The valley, whose namesake is the Nassach, is at its widest point only a few hundred meters, but nearly 10 kilometers long. The Nassachtalstraße, which connects the Filstal valley with the Remstal valley, leads through the whole valley past the village Diegelsberg on a hill and through the Nassachmühle at the entrance to the valley. In the middle is the place Nassach / Unterhütt. The open Talzug continues then up along the right upper reaches Lochbach until after counted from below fourth suburb Baiereck on the banks.
Since 1996, these four towns together form the town of Nassachtal / Diegelsberg, which belongs to the city of Uhingen in the district of Göppingen. The suburbs together have about 1,700 inhabitants, their districts mainly include forests and agricultural land. The four villages are accessed by the Nassachtalstraße L 1152, which are connected via the driveway Nassachtal on the federal highway 10 in the Filstal with the Stuttgart area.
