Seewald is a municipality in the Freudenstadt district in Baden-Württemberg in southern Germany. It lies in the Black Forest. The source of the river Nagold is situated in the municipality. There is a dam in the river near the village Erzgrube, forming the artificial lake Nagoldsee. Erzgrube lies 550 m above sea level. Other subdivisions lie between 750 and 850 m above sea level in the midst of the forests. 90% of the area is covered with forests.

Hohenzollern Castle is the ancestral seat of the imperial House of Hohenzollern. The third of three hilltop castles on the site, it is located atop Mount Hohenzollern, above and south of Hechingen, on the edge of the Swabian Jura of central Baden-Württemberg, Germany. The first fortress on the mountain was constructed in the early 11th century. Over the years the House of Hohenzollern split several times, but the castle remained in the Swabian branch, the dynastic seniors of the Franconian-Brandenburgian cadet branch that later acquired its own imperial throne. This castle was completely destroyed in 1423 after a ten-month siege by the free imperial cities of Swabia. The beginning of this video is shot in Luxembourg. The scenery was beautiful with the famous bridge and viaduct. This was on our way to Germany, where we visited family. The black forest is such a nice part of Germany, with all the clocks and dense forests. We traveled through La route des vins where famous wines are made. We couldn't believe the amount of wine yards around us, incredible. The villages around the Alsace area are so lovely. We also visited Strasbourg, and the weather was great. The last bit of the video is how asparagus is cultivated, covered with black tarps to avoid sunlight. This is a delicacy! Yum!
