Borgholzhausen is a town in the district of Gütersloh in the state of North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. It is located in the Teutoburg Forest, approx. 20 km north-west of Bielefeld. Borgholzhausen is a sister city to New Haven, Missouri in the Missouri Rhineland of the United States.

Weltvogelpark Walsrode is a bird park located in the middle of the Lüneburg Heath in North Germany within the municipality of Bomlitz near Walsrode in the state of Lower Saxony, Germany. Weltvogelpark Walsrode is the largest bird park in the world in terms of species as well as land area , It covers 24 hectares and houses some 4,400 birds of over 675 species from every continent and climatic zone in the world. The Weltvogelpark Walsrode celebrated its fiftieth anniversary in 2012.

Münster, Germany: Beautiful Places To Visit In The Westphalian City [Travel Vlog]

Another beautiful German city to add to the list! We got the chance to explore Münster (sometimes written Muenster), a historic university town full of life, charm, and bikes!

Known for the gorgeous Altstadt (Old Town), Rathaus (Town Hall), and Münster Dom (Cathedral), Münster is a city that we absolutely loved exploring. We even got the chance to have a coffee and lunch near the the main street/marketplace (Prinzipalmarkt) just taking in the city life!

NEUSS - Kunst statt Raketen (Art rather than missiles)

Die Raketenstation „Hombroich ist ein ehemaliges NATO-Gelände, welches 1967 im Auftrag der Amerikaner von dem belgischen Raketengeschwader in Betrieb genommen wurde. Hier wurden unter anderem die berüchtigten Pershing-Raketen bereit gehalten, was in den 80ern zu der ein oder anderen Friedensdemonstration führte. Nachdem das Gelände 1990 geschlossen wurde kaufte Karl-Heinrich Müller, ein Kunstsammler und Gründer der gegenüber liegenden Museumsinsel das Gelände und schenkte der Kunst einen neuen Platz zur Entfaltung. Auf dem Gelände arbeiten heute Künstler, Dichter, Komponisten und Wissenschaftler.

The missile base Hombroich is a former NATO area, which was taken in 1967 on behalf of the Americans from the Belgian missile squadron in operation. Here were kept including the infamous Pershing missiles, which resulted in the 80 to one or the other peace demonstration.
After the area was closed in 1990 bought it Karl-Heinrich Müller. He is an art collector and founder of the Museum Island opposite the site and gave the art a new room for development.
On the area today works, artists, poets, composers and scientists.

The High Lonesome Ranch, Rifle Range

Guests arriving at The High Lonesome Ranch for a big game hunt will appreciate having a rifle range to sight-in before a hunt. It's also a great place for younger shooters to do some plinking with a .22.
