Jever is called “Town of Lady Mary” the last independent ruler of the city, Jeverland which is expressed in the “Lady Mary Statue” and the “Mary Grammar School”. It can also be hard by the daily ringing of the castle bells. Which is a good place to start….
Incorporated in the Jever beers logo is the Jever Castle. Jever castle dates back to the late 14th century.

This beautiful sculpture 'the Bather , by Oliver Voss is seen here in the Innen Alster , Hamburg . She was clearly a major attraction if the number of people photographing her were anything to go by . 67feet long , with a weight of more than 2toms she is actually an advert for British beauty products to promote bathing .I'm glad I went to see this work of art .So many others I spoke to felt the same .In the wind it was wonderful to see her head move .One was left wondering who wa actually watching who -
