Dörverden is a municipality in the district of Verden, in Lower Saxony, Germany. It is situated on the right bank of the Weser, approx. 8 km south of Verden, and 40 km southeast of Bremen. Dörverden belonged to the Prince-Bishopric of Verden, established in 1180. In 1648 the Prince-Bishopric was transformed into the Principality of Verden, which was first ruled in personal union by the Swedish Crown - interrupted by a Danish occupation - and from 1715 on by the Hanoverian Crown. 1. Hermannsdenkmal Detmold
The Hermannsdenkmal is a monument located southwest of Detmold in the district of Lippe, in Germany. It stands on the densely forested Grotenburg, sometimes also called the Teutberg or Teut, a hill in the Teutoburger Wald range. The monument is located inside the remains of a circular rampart. The monument was constructed between 1838 and 1875 to commemorate the Cherusci war chief Arminius and his victory over Rome at the Battle of the Teutoburg Forest in 9 AD. When the statue was built, its location was believed to be near the original battle site, although experts now consider it more likely that the battle took place near Kalkriese, about 100 km to the north-west.

Here we have what was an exotic locomotive in Switzerland. The first TRAXX 3 last mile purchased in Switzerland and operated by a small company by the name of Swiss Rail Traffic (SRT).
It's main duty was transporting toxic waste from from former waste disposal sites which were found to be contaminating the surrounding ground water.
The project has since ended. Last autumn, SRT was part of the sugar beet campaign, along with EDG, WRS, Sersa and even CJ. SBB no longer wanted to invest resources into the yearly campaign and so the small companies stepped up.
Here SRT's locomtive is seen pulling sugar beet trains during the 2018 campaign.
It has since been sold to an Austrian railway company, due to the lack of regular work. SRT has instead hired a regular TRAXX from Angel Trains, as well as using an Re 4/4 I and on occasion a Makies BDe 4/4.
With this in mind, I put this video together of the few clips I have of the locomotive, so it won't be forgotten.

Autobahn 27 Bremen Richtung Walsrode (von Verden-Nord nach Walsrode-West) [2016]

Die Bundesautobahn 27 führt rechts der Weser von Cuxhaven als östliche Tangente an Bremerhaven und Bremen vorbei zum Bremer Kreuz und von dort über Verden nach Walsrode zur A7. Dieser südliche Abschnitt wurde Anfang der 1960er Jahre sukzessive von Bremen beginnend südostwärts eröffnet, 1964 wurde das letzte Teilstück Verden - Walsrode dem Verkehr übergeben.
