The German Emigration Center is a museum located in Bremerhaven, Germany dedicated to the history of German emigration, especially to the United States. It is Europe's largest theme museum about emigration. Visitors can experience the emigration process through interactive exhibits. The museum also provides access to databases of immigration records.The museum opened on August 8, 2005.

Love Locks on Bridges in Paris

There is an interesting history behind this. Placing padlocks on bridges, monuments, etc, was popular in cities in Italy and Asia before eventually spreading to Paris.
This video shows three different bridges in Paris filled with padlocks. People still sell padlocks on the bridges even though it's illegal.

The weight of the locks has become a concern and was blamed for the collapse of part of one of the bridges. The government in Paris has tried to encourage tourists not to place locks on the bridges by starting a campaign asking tourists to take selfies on the bridge instead and post them with the hashtag #lovewithoutlocks.
