Schloß Holte-Stukenbrock is a city in the district of Gütersloh in the state of North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. It is located near the Eggegebirge, approx. 15 km east of Gütersloh and 15 km south-east of Bielefeld. It is the source of the Ems River. In 2004, the town celebrated its 850th Anniversary, making it one of the oldest towns in North Rhine-Westphalia.

2. Edersee Waldeck
The Edersee Dam is a hydroelectric dam spanning the Eder river in northern Hesse, Germany. Constructed between 1908 and 1914, it lies near the small town of Waldeck at the northern edge of the Kellerwald. Breached by Allied bombs during World War II, it was rebuilt during the war, and today generates hydroelectric power and regulates water levels for shipping on the Weser river. At low water in late summers of dry years the remnants of three villages and a bridge across the original river bed submerged when the lake was filled in 1914 can be seen. Descendants of those buried there go to visit the graves of their ancestors.

Poisoned Sandwiches Kill 21 In Germany

CNN reports that authorities are investigating the deaths of 21 people at a company in Germany. This after an employee was allegedly caught poisoning a colleague's lunch.
A 56-year-old man has been charged with attempted murder at a company in the northwestern town of Schloss Holte-Stukenbrock. This according to police in nearby Bielefeld, where the man lives. Police did not name the suspect.
The police said in a statement, he was seen on a security camera opening a co-worker's lunchbox and putting a substance on the sandwich inside.
police said a small bottle of powdery substance was found in the suspect's bag after he was taken into custody.
Officials are also now re-examining all deaths connected to the company since 2000 to see if heavy metal poisoning played a part. In particular, 21 former employees who died before retirement.
