Fort Erie, Ontario: Downtown Driving Tour (February, 2019)
Our driving tour video starts across from Old Fort Erie on Lakeshore Road in Fort Erie, Ontario. The initial scene shows the Buffalo, New York skyline across the waters of Lake Erie. We had just finished up photographing a sunrise that fizzled out.
The drive takes us east on Lakeshore / Dominion Road, past the Mather Arch and under the Peace Bridge. The bridge spans the Niagara River, serving as a border crossing between Canada and the United States.
We turn around after passing through the old downtown of Fort Erie and head west again. After passing under the Peace Bridge and again passing the Mather Arch, we exit town via Garrison Road / Highway 3.
The sunrise over Buffalo, New York from that morning:
Our next stop was Welland, Ontario - see that driving tour video here:

Beautiful Oakville - one of the most affluent towns in Canada
A town in Halton Region, on Lake Ontario in Southern Ontario, Canada, and is part of the Greater Toronto Area.
Oakville's first industries included shipbuilding, timber shipment, and wheat farming. In the 1850s, there was an economic recession and the foundry, the most important industry in town, was closed. Basket-making became a major industry in the town, and the Grand Trunk Railway was built through it.
The town eventually became industrialized with the opening of Petro Canada and Shell Canada oil refineries (both now closed), the Procor factory, and, most importantly, the Ford Motor Company's Canadian headquarters and plant, all close to the Canadian National Railway and the Queen Elizabeth Way highway between Toronto and Fort Erie (Buffalo).
In 1962 the town of Oakville merged with its neighbouring villages to become the new Town of Oakville, reaching northwards to Steeles Avenue in Milton. In 1973, the restructuring of Halton County into Halton Region brought the northern border southwards to just north of Highway 407.

Welland, Ontario: Downtown Driving Tour (February, 2019)
Our driving tour of downtown Welland, Ontario takes into town going west on East Main Street. After crossing the Welland Bridge, we loop around to return on Division Street. Division meets up with Main Street again going eastbound. We end the tour after going under the East Main Street Tunnel under the existing Welland Canal.
Welland, Ontario is a city of 52,000 that was first settled in 1788. It was incorporated as a village in 1858 and as a city in 1917. The location is less than 25 km from Niagara Falls and around 30 kilometres from Fort Erie (and Buffalo, New York).
From downtown Toronto, the distance is 134 KM by road. Welland is directly south of downtown Toronto but Lake Ontario gets in the way.
The Welland Canal Bridge 13 dominates the view in the downtown core. Opened in 1930, the last ship to pass underneath was in 1972. Since, it has been permanently locked in the lowered position as the Canal was rerouted around the city. The bridge is 71 metres or 232 feet in length and also known as the Welland Main Street Bridge or just the Welland Bridge.

Old Quebec City One of the Top 10 Canada Places to See | RV Living Full Time
Traveling to Old Quebec City in is one of the top 10 Canada places to see especially when RV living full time. There's so much to see and do in Quebec City - this old world, European city - like explore the Quartier Petit Champlain, which is the square for shopping and eating, or ride the electric funicular cableway rising 195 ft. between the upper and lower towns. I loved just sitting by the fountains or eating in the cafe and watch people, and take in all the sights and smells. It was so easy to park the RV at Walmart and boondock there for free then walk down the hill to the ferry over to Old Quebec City.
Quebec City is also super dog friendly. Lily went with me everywhere and they will allow dogs on the cafe terraces outside.
