Ontario Bikepacking - Day 2 - North Frontenac to Denbigh (90km in 10 hours!)
Bikepacking route through Crown land in Eastern Ontario Canada around Sharbot Lake Provincial Park and Bon Echo Provincial Park.
Day 2 took us from a Crown land lake through the Ompah/North Frontenac backcountry, up Norcan Lake Road to Mountain Chute Dam. From there, we biked on a forest/logging road known as Hunt Camp Lane, swam at Dodge Lake and then continued and back through some killer climbs on ATV & hydroline trails on Crown land (Mazinaw Powerline Trail). We biked through a thunderstorm and waded through some deep water before deciding to skip a visit to an to the Irvine Lake Airstrip by riding on Buckshot Lake Road before we crashed beside a small lake for the night.

St Thomas to Alvinston - Rural Ontario Bike Tour - Day 5 of 9
This video summarizes day 5 of my 9 day solo bicycle trip through South-Western Ontario, Canada. All of the clips in the video were filmed on Wednesday, May 23, 2018.
Starting at Dalewood Conservation Area I headed north along Dalewood Rd then turned and headed west along Ron McNeil Line. From there I turned onto Wonderland Rd then headed southwest along Clinton Line, Longhurst Line, Stafford Line, 5 Gore Line and Shackleton. I turned and headed North West after reaching the community of Dutton along Currie Rd. Once I got to Duff Line I turned and headed South West through the community of Largie. After reaching Dunborough Road I turned again and headed North West and crossed over the Thames River where the road changed names to Simspon Rd. After a brief stretch heading South East along Longwoods Rd, I turned onto Dundonald Rd and continued North West. I stopped for lunch in Glencoe at Palace Family Restaurant, then continued along Dundonald until it changes names to Courtright Line and heads in the west direction. I made a right turn at Inwood Rd and passed through the community of Inwood where I stopped for a visit at the home of 1puglife from YouTube. I then traveled back East again along Shiloh Line which took me to my campground for the night at A.W. Campbell Conservation Area. After setting up my tent I headed into the community of Alvinston for dinner at Amour's Ale House. After dinner I did a nature walk around the lake trail at my campground.

Strava for Day 5:
The bike I used for this trip is a New York made Linear Recumbent Bike which I believe is from around 2004. I carried my gear in 2 Giant Waterproof Panniers, and mounted my tent and sleeping pad on the top of the rack.
