Notre-Dame-du-Laus is a municipality in the Laurentides region of Quebec, Canada, part of the Antoine-Labelle Regional County Municipality. The municipality is characterized by hilly forests with a great number of lakes, rivers, and creeks. Because of those nature gems they’re are many cottages owned and built in the area. The eastern portion of its territory is part of the Papineau-Labelle Wildlife Reserve. Consequently, the local economy is dependent on forestry as well as on the influx of tourists, fishermen and hunters.

Parc Omega is a safari park in Notre-Dame-de-Bonsecours, Quebec, Canada . Along a 12-kilometre nature route are lakes, meadows, small valleys, forests, and rocky hills. It is home to many wildlife species including beaver, elk, raccoon, timber wolf, coyote, muskox, deer, turtle, boar, red fox, Alpine ibex, caribou, black bear, moose, wild turkey, and bison. During the summer there are shows featuring birds of prey especially bald eagles. The site also has a restaurant with a panoramic view. The park is open daily, year round. The park is a drive-through experience, meaning visitors stay in their cars and drive through the park on a winding trail. They also offer three walking trails, playgrounds and picnic areas. Mont-Saint-Bruno National Park is a small national park of Quebec located near the municipality of Saint-Bruno-de-Montarville, 15 kilometres to the east of Montréal on the south shore of the Saint Lawrence river. The park, with an area of 8.84 kilometres , notably includes the Mount Saint-Bruno, one of the Monteregian Hills which peaks at 218 metres . Nouvelle série de VLOGS dédiée à cette région du Québec qu'on aime tant ! Une semaine de découverte, d'activités de plein air et d'hébergements insolites pour se mettre au vert et se reconnecter avec la Nature.

DÉCONNECTION TOTALE dans les Laurentides : Bienvenue au Parc régional du Poisson Blanc où nous avons trouvé un COIN D'ÉTERNITÉ.

Le village le plus proche du camp de base se nomme Notre-Dame-du-Laus et non Notre-Dame-du-Lac comme indiqué dans le vlog à 1min05s.

Cet énorme Lac qui est en fait un réservoir abrite une cinquantaine d'îles et presque autant de sites de camping isolés les uns des autres.

GROS COUP DE CŒUR pour ce séjour en immersion totale dans la Nature où nous avons savouré chaque moment comme le petit-déjeuner face au lac, entourés d'écureuils et d'oiseaux, les dîners autour du feu, l'exploration des alentours en Kayaks ou en Paddle...

Il est difficile de quitter ce petit coin de Paradis. Et ici pas de wifi et pas de réseau. C'est le lieu idéal pour retrouver la valeur des choses simples.
