The Kahnawake Mohawk Territory is a First Nations reserve of the Mohawks of Kahnawá:ke on the south shore of the St. Lawrence River in Quebec, Canada, across from Montreal. Recorded by French Canadians in 1719 as a Jesuit mission, it has also been known as Seigneury Sault du St. Louis, Caughnawaga and 17 European spelling variations of the Mohawk Kahnawake. Île de la Visitation is a small island in the Rivière des Prairies, part of the Hochelaga Archipelago, and part of the city of Montreal in Quebec, Canada. Located within the boroughs of Ahuntsic-Cartierville and Montréal-Nord, the island is the site of a 34 hectares nature park, as well as the remaining buildings of the historic Sault-au-Récollet district. The island also includes the former hydraulic installations, l'île du Cheval-de-Terre, which is connected to Laval by the Rivière des Prairies generating station, as well as a wooded area left intact along the Rivière des Prairies.

Dies ist das 24. Video einer Serie über Kanada. Geplant ist, dass jeden Montag Mittag ein neues Video Online gestellt wird. Ich werde über meine Erfahrung in Kanada berichten, wo ich in den Neunzigern 8 Jahre in Montreal gelebt und gearbeitet habe. Seit 2000 bin ich in den Foren aktiv und versuche (es ist immer nur ein Versuch) Menschen mit meinen Erfahrungen und meinem Wissen über das Einwanderungsgesetz zu helfen erfolgreich nach Kanada zu ziehen.

In den Videos spreche ich über Themen für junge Leute von 13+, die mit einem Visum des Programms International Experience Canada, wie beispielsweise Young Professionals oder Working and Holiday oder auch als Schüler nach Kanada ziehen.

Die anstehenden Änderungen des Programms für Skilled Workers and Professionals werden ebenfalls regelmäßig besprochen.
