North Carolina's Jordan Jarvis is progressing her way to the top of the Womens motocross scene and bringing a defined style to each and every moto she races. Jordan trains part time at South of the Border and her hard work and focus payed off with a 5th place in the Womens (14 +) class and 2nd in the Girls Sr (12-16) class. 2002 Pleasant Valley Canadian Motocross Championship (250cc Pro Round 6 of 8; 125cc East Round 2)
This is round 6 of the 2002 250cc Pro and round 2 of the 125cc East Extreme Sports Series Canadian Motocross Championships from Pleasant Valley Motocross Park in Brookfield, Nova Scotia.
Returning Canadian and American racers like Marco Dube, Blair Morgan, Darcy Lange, Chuck Mesley, Simon Homans, Doug DeHaan, Brad Hagseth, Lance Smail, Chad Pederson, Mike Treadwell, Phil Lawrence, Chilean transplant Jeremiah Israel, and defending champ Jean-Sebastien Roy battle it out for the 2002 Extreme Sports Series 250cc Pro Canadian Motocross Championship. This series features a season-long battle between Blackfoot Honda teammates Jean-Sebasten Roy and Blair Morgan. Commentators are Marc Travers, Brian Koster, and pit reporter/125cc East rider Ryan Gauld. After a back injury in preparation for round 2 in Kamloops, Darcy Lange returns in practice, only to end up deciding not to race. Lance Smail and Doug DeHaan switch from 450cc 4-strokes to 250cc 2-strokes for this race.
Returning 125cc East contenders like Derrick Fisher, Mike Treadwell, Ryan Gauld, Ryan Lockhart, Mike Island, Joel Saarits, and defending champ Simon Homans battle it out for the 4-race 2002 Extreme Sports Series 125cc East Canadian Motocross Championship. Heidi Cooke becomes the first female to compete in the 2002 Canadian Nationals.
