Charming Country home in Morin Heights (Laurentians) QC
FOR ADDITIONAL INFO, SEE ALSO : 53rg2.com
On this magnificent site you'll discover this beautiful and well-kept Cape Cod style bungalow that was built in 1999. Yes it's close to all the great winter activities that the Laurentians are famous for, but it also has an amazing site designed to make the other three seasons totally enjoyable.
It can be both a great place to relax peacefully and a great house to host get-togethers forfamily and friends !
Ideally located between St-Sauveur and Morin Heights, this home is easily accessible from all major arteries andclose to local businesses (1.5 km to IGA, pharmacy, gas, SAQ), about 8 minutes from St-Sauveur town centre as well as to the Laurentian Autoroute). As well, it is only about 500 meters from the municipal bike path which leads to the Aerobic corridor (58 km long). Also to enjoy in the area are the numerous ski centers (downhill & cross country) and golf courses -- all just close enough -- and just far enough - to appreciate. The municipality also offers a diverse program of cultural, educational and physical activities for all ages.
Built in 1999, this home has since benefitted from many upgrades - both inside and out. From the charming curb appeal, to the magnificent private backyard area, this home's landscaping has been completely redone,to fit its surroundings. The pool area is completely private and is located within the 64,000 square foot plot with full Southern exposition. Most of the property is fenced, providing a safe environment for children or pets. The 20' x 40' heated in-ground pool is the centerpiece of this magnificent play area and it is surrounded by gardens of perennials and a vast terrace made of pavers. A cedar hedge coupled with the surrounding forest provide a natural privacy screen from neighbors and passers-by.
The interior reflects a beautiful New England influence. The heart of the home is the central South-facing open Living room - lunch area - kitchen. These rooms shrae a vaulted ceiling and large windows to the South, providing a bright spacious ambiance. The closed formal dining room (which could easily be converted to a bedroom) the roomy master bedroom and the charming main bathroom complete the main floor.
The lower level (above-ground and at pool level) offers a cozy family room two bedrooms (each has a walk-in closet) and the very functional and attractive 2nd full bathroom that incorporates a laundry area. A large storage room completes the lower floor level.
Additionally, this home offers:
- Wood burning fireplace (living room) with heat returns in living room and family room;
- Air exchanger (2005);
- Quality, remote-controlled ceiling fan in living room;
- All floors are either wood or ceramic tile;
- Custom carpettes on stairs;

Srinagar nightmare! Real test for Royal Enfield Himalayan - Part 10
Motorcycle Trip to India - Terrible traffic on the way to Srinagar.
The trip was two months long and I did a little above 13,000km. I was on the territories of Pakistan, India, Nepal and Bangladesh. I had wonderful time there and met so many so many great people. The idea of these video series is to show you the world the way it is. No hard edition, no cinematic effect. I want you to see and feel everything I have experienced there. Before I start the trip I was looking for information about this part of the world and found that there is not enough. I believe that these video series will fill the gap and provide the necessary information for every motorcycle traveler who has these destinations in his mind.
