Les Éboulements is a municipality in the Capitale-Nationale region of Quebec, Canada. Its population centres include Les Éboulements , Éboulements-Est , Cap-aux-Oies, Sainte-Marie-de-Charlevoix, and Saint-Joseph-de-la-Rive . Saint-Joseph-de-la-Rive, formerly known as Les Éboulements-en-Bas and Quai-des-Éboulements, is the departure point for ferries to L'Isle-aux-Coudres. The municipality is member of the Association of Most Beautiful Villages of Quebec due to its country heritage and to the beautiful architecture and character of its houses.

Mont-Sainte-Anne is a ski resort in eastern Canada, located in the town of Beaupré, Quebec, about 40 km northeast of Quebec City. The mountain is part of the Laurentian mountain chain and has a summit elevation of 800 m above sea level with a vertical drop of 625 m . There are 71 trails covering 71 km on three different sides of the mountain, and 19 trails covering 15.2 km are available for night skiing on the highest vertical for night skiing in Canada. The average natural snowfall at the summit is 475 cm .

Backpacking in Quebec Canada

This is a video made with clips from my recent trip to Québec. There are several cities and places featured in the video ranging from Montréal, Québec City, Hautes-Gorges-de-la-Rivière-Malbaie National Park, Saint-Joseph-de-la-Rive (Les Éboulements),
La Malbaie, Sanctuaire de Sainte-Anne-de-Beaupré. It was a very enjoyable trip, hike, and experience.

QC - Iles de la Madeleine - Île de Cap aux Meules - Excursions en mer - Grotte Le Tunnel

La dernière grotte que nous avons visitée s'appelle le tunnel. Le zodiac pénètre donc dans ce sombre tunnel. Nous sentons le souffle du vent qui s'y infiltre.

Il y a une ouverture au bout du tunnel qui mène à une petite anse. Cependant, nous ne passerons pas dans cette ouverture puisque la marée n'est pas favorable.

Nous sortirons donc à reculons du tunnel et contournerons la falaise.

L'édifice jaune que nous apercevons au haut de la falaise est l'Auberge La Salicorne. En plus d'offrir des chambres, des sites de camping sont également disponibles.

Lorsque nous pénétrons dans l'anse pour observer l'autre extrémité du tunnel, nous apercevons un arbre qui git tête en bas le long de la falaise.

Notre guide nous explique que cet arbre est dans cette position depuis l'année dernière suite à un éboulement de terrain.

Les différentes strates de roches nous démontrent parfaitement l'état précaire des falaises dans ce secteur.
