G Learns How To Drive The RV ~ Dodges $2,000,000 Prevost Busses
It has been a long time coming and something we should have done a while ago. If you have a rig like this it is VERy important that the other person knows how to handle the motorhome...that is if you travel with another person. G passed with flying colors! It may be a while before I can convince her to drive with the tow car :-)

What is Your RV Worth to You? | RV Lifestyle Live
This video discussion was prompted by a recent comment here on YouTube from someone who thought it foolish to invest a lot of money in a motorhome, which he saw as a depreciating asset. The comment got me thinking that, in reality, our RV is an appreciating asset, in that we appreciate so many things in a new way because of what the RV allows us to do. I shared my thoughts with our social media audience and found lots of agreement. Plus we answered a lot of side questions about the RV lifestyle.

ROUTE 66 RV TRIP: Albuquerque to Flagstaff (TRIPPED RV S2 E6)
ROUTE 66: Albuquerque to Flagstaff
One of the best things about traveling by RV is that there is seldom a feeling to rush from one place to the next- which is good, because the top speed and maneuverability of a 30 ft winnebago make it hard to rush anywhere to begin with.
We did the best to make the drive West from Albequerue, New Mexico to Sedona, Arizona a leisurely one filled with stops. While this was one of the most beautiful drives we did the lack of places to stay along the way made camping a bit more stressful than normal.
We found our solution with Red Rock Park along Highway 40 in New Mexico. We stayed here for a few days to enjoy the nearby hiking to Church Rock. We were also able to schedule in stops at Petrified Forest National Park as well as Meteor Crater.

National Park Pass
This part of the road trip truly cemented in our minds just how wise of a decision it was to purchase the America the Beautiful Annual Park Pass. For $80, we wouldn’t have to concern ourselves with entrance fees to National Parks or over 2,000 Federal recreation sites.
One advantage with the pass is that you can save money if you’re planning on visiting many parks. That’s may be obvious as the first reason you’d spring for the purchase. The other factor that started playing a larger role in our trip is that we wouldn’t think twice about visiting a lesser known fee area for just a short time.
Skipping forward in our trip to right before entering Canada in July, we used the National Park Pass at:
Big Bend
Carlsbad
Petrified Forest
Glen Canyon/Lake Powell
White Sands
Grand Canyon
Glacier
Grand Tetons
Yellowstone

2016-10 Flashback: Camping in Sherbrooke Québec
Silke and dog Kye are enjoying the most wonderful Indian Summer morning at the Camping Deauville RV Resort in Sherbrooke Québec. This is my (Silke's) most favourite video so far and such a treasured memory!
*****
We (Rolf, Silke and dog Kye) have been on the road with our Tesla Model X and SafariCondo Alto R1723 travel trailer since June 2016 (with a 4 months winter break). First, we crossed Canada West to East, then enjoyed the Indian Summer in the New England States before continuing on to Florida. That was 24,000km/15,000mi in 4 1/2 months.
