1. Lake Kaweah Lemon Cove
Lake Kaweah is a reservoir near Lemon Cove in Tulare County, California. The lake is formed by Terminus Dam on the Kaweah River. The river originates in the San Joaquin Valley beneath the Sierra Nevada mountains and drains about 560 sq mi into Lake Kaweah. From Lake Kaweah, the river flows toward the city of Visalia, splitting into the Kaweah River and St. Johns River as it flows west into the Tulare Lakebed. The lake has a capacity of 185,000 acre⋅ft . A project to raise the lake 21 ft was completed in 2004. The lake now impounds an additional 42,000 acre⋅ft and downstream flood protection to downstream communities and agricultural land has been increased. The Giant Forest, famed for its giant sequoia trees, is within the United States' Sequoia National Park. This montane forest, situated at over 6,000 feet above mean sea level in the western Sierra Nevada of California, covers an area of 1,880 acres . The Giant Forest is the most accessible of all giant sequoia groves, as it has over 40 miles of hiking trails. Five of the ten most massive trees on the planet are located within the Giant Forest. The largest of these, the General Sherman tree, measures 36.5 feet across the base. The giant sequoia tree is the most massive species of tree on earth, and one of just five tree species documented to grow to 300 feet in height . It is also among the longest-lived of all trees on the planet.

Moro Rock is a granite dome rock formation in Sequoia National Park, California, United States. It is located in the center of the park, at the head of Moro Creek, between Giant Forest and Crescent Meadow. A stairway, designed by the National Park Service and built in the 1930s by the Civilian Conservation Corps, is cut into and poured onto the rock, so that visitors can hike to the top. The view from the rock encompasses much of the Park, including the Great Western Divide. Use of this trail is discouraged during thunderstorms and when it is snowing.

World's Biggest Dinosaurs - VIDEO TOUR (Cabazon, California)

We stopped by to take a look at the World's Biggest Dinosaurs in Cabazon, CA! You can take some cool pics and visit the gift shop inside the dinosaur without paying anything at all. To see the rest of the park, you need to buy a ticket for around ~$13. It's pretty cool!

The Cabazon Dinosaurs have long been regarded as one of the most iconic roadside attractions. Featured in cult classics such as Pee Wee Herman’s Big Adventure and The Wizard, the dinosaurs have staked their place in pop culture.

Dinny's gift shop features a wide array of unique dinosaur-themed merchandise and souvenirs.

Mr. Rex’s Dinosaur Adventure includes a dinosaur exhibit featuring over 50 lifelike dinosaurs, a dinosaur dig, fossil panning, and access to climb inside Mr. Rex all the way up to his mouth!
