Yeoval is a small village in the Central Western district of New South Wales, Australia. The town lies in Cabonne Shire. However, a small part lies over Buckinbah Creek in Wellington Shire which is referred to as North Yeoval. At the 2011 census, Yeoval had a population of 292. The town was the childhood home of Australian poet Banjo Paterson, who lived on the nearby Buckinbah property, and many of his poems reflect the area. A Banjo Paterson Museum is open to visitors.

  • 2. Gulgong Pioneers Museum Gulgong
    Gulgong is a 19th-century gold rush town in the Central Tablelands and the wider Central West regions of the Australian state of New South Wales. The town is situated within the Mid-Western Regional Council local government area. It is located about 300 km north west of Sydney, and about 30 km north of Mudgee along the Castlereagh Highway. At the 2016 Census, Gulgong had a population of 2,521. Today, much of the 19th century character of the town remains, contributing to its appeal as a tourist destination.   • 4. The Henry Parkes Centre Parkes
    The King's Castle is Australia's only permanent collection of Elvis' personal memorabilia on loan to Parkes Shire Council, New South Wales, Australia by former Yellow Wiggle Greg Page. The collection features clothing, jewellery and many other items that were owned by Elvis himself. The collection is housed at the Henry Parkes Centre, on the Newell Highway, Parkes and is open to the public seven days a week. The display consists of two galleries including exhibits of Elvis' early years, movie years, personal life and stage and army careers. The collection is updated annually prior to the Countrylink Parkes Elvis Festival held on the second weekend of January every year.
