Evans Head is a town in Richmond Valley Shire of the Northern Rivers region of New South Wales, Australia. At the 2016 census, Evans Head had a population of 2,847 people. It is 726 kilometres north of Sydney, and 11 kilometres east off the Pacific Highway from Woodburn.

1. Bundjalung National Park Evans Head
The Bundjalung National Park is a 210-square-kilometre national park located on the north coast of New South Wales, Australia, 554 kilometres north-east of Sydney. It protects an area of coastal plain, heathland and solitary beaches between the towns of Iluka and Evans Head. The park features coffee rock formations that can be found on the beaches at its northern end. Along the Iluka peninsula coast at the southern end of the park are a number of closely spaced headlands that create small crescent shaped beaches of white sand. Each headland features rock platforms cut by waves and contain rock pools that are havens for intertidal marine life. The park is named for the Bundjalung Aboriginal nation, the original occupiers of the land. Facilities in the park include camping areas at Black Roc...

Natural Bridge is a locality in the far south west of the City of Gold Coast local government area of South East Queensland, Australia. Its name is taken from a rock arch in Springbrook National Park. A waterfall along Cave Creek, a tributary of the Nerang River flows through the arch. Natural Bridge is located at the southern extent of the Nerang River valley on the southern border with New South Wales, between the Springbrook plateau and Binna Burra in the Scenic Rim Region. The western half of Natural Bridge is protected within Lamington National Park. The rugged landscape here is dotted with waterfalls, lookouts and peaks rising above 1,100 metres. The Springbrook National Park is a protected national park that is located in the Gold Coast hinterland of Queensland, Australia. The 6,197-hectare park is situated on the McPherson Range, near Springbrook, approximately 100 kilometres south of Brisbane. The park is part of the Shield Volcano Group of the UNESCO World Heritage–listed Gondwana Rainforests of Australia. In December 1994, the UNESCO World Heritage Committee officially extended the area now known as the Gondwana Rainforests of Australia World Heritage Area over the Scenic Rim and the rainforests of northern New South Wales. In 2007 the areas of the Gondwana Rainforests of Australia were added to the Australian National Heritage List. Jetty Fishing, Evans Head

One of my fondest childhood memories was fishing with my granddad as a young boy of about five or six years of age around the entrance in New South Wales. We’d fish lakes for flathead, bream and whiting and I loved fishing from the jetty. Well, it’s all coming back to me today as we wet a line from a similar jetty outside the Fishing Co-op at Evans Head on the NSW north coast.
