Nundle is a village in the New England region of New South Wales, Australia. It was formerly the centre of Nundle Shire local government area, but most of this area, including the village of Nundle, was absorbed into Tamworth Regional Council in 2004. The village is 400 km north of Sydney and about 56 km south east of Tamworth past Chaffey Dam via a good sealed road. In the 2006 census Nundle had a population of 289. Nundle is located at the southern end of Fossickers Way.

1. Barrington Tops National Park New South Wales
The Barrington Tops National Park is a protected national park located in the Hunter Valley, approximately 200 kilometres north of Sydney in New South Wales, Australia. Gazetted in 1969, the 76,512-hectare park is situated between Scone, Singleton, Dungog, Gloucester and East Gresford. The park is part of the Barrington Tops group World Heritage Site Gondwana Rainforests of Australia inscribed in 1986 and added to the Australian National Heritage List in 2007.It is also part of the Barrington Tops and Gloucester Tops Important Bird Area.

This picturesque park provides a haven for guests to enjoy the beautiful lawns and abundant trees and is surrounded by the Hills of Gold.

The park caters for a full range of travellers with a large area out the back catering for all size rigs and adjoining the river. The sites are all level and spacious all with power and water. There is a separate level further up for smaller caravans and motorhomes.

Your hosts are Heath & Kim have owned the park for 11 years, are very welcoming and still take great pride in it, which is reflected in the appearance of the park. It is spotlessly clean and very well maintained and has some great facilities including a great camp kitchen, complimentary tennis courts, and its own Visitor Information Centre right on site.

THERE'S AGATES EVERYWHERE - Black Soil Area

Scattered on the ground are all sorts of agates of different colors and shapes, crystals and other gemstones. Anyone can come here and get as much agate and gemstones as you want.
Agate Creek fossicking area is located 70 km. South of Forsayth, Queensland Australia by a gravel road but also suitable for conventional vehicle. There is a designated camping area with shower, toilet and potable drinking water. Winter is the best time to come here as the weather is not too hot.
NOTE: Please be aware that fossicking in Queensland, Australia requires a current fossicking license or fossicking camping permit which can be obtained online or from Queensland regional and district offices and authorized agents. Licences are not required at tourist mines and similar sites that charge a fee for entry.
